Usually customs clearing once the goods have arrived to the destination country start as soon as the air cargo arrives. The process can commence immediately hence or otherwise the next day depending on the airplane arrival time. Usually the whole process requires 2-3 days provided there are no hickups.


Air freight is usually billed by chargeable weight. Hence, the the greater of actual weight vs. volumetric (dimensional) weight is used to determine the total freight charge. The standard formula to calculate volumetric weight is:
(Length × Width × Height in cm) ÷ 6000 = Volumetric Weight (kg)
